Job Title: Tour Guide
Job Summary: The Royals are looking for individuals who are passionate about Kauffman Stadium, the Royals and Kansas City baseball history. Each year, baseball fans from around the world tour Kauffman Stadium. Royals tour guides, often a first point of contact, are expected to deliver outstanding guest experiences. The Royals are looking for energetic, dedicated professionals to join our tours and experiences team.
Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
· Share Kansas City baseball history in a fun and engaging manner to a variety of audiences (including families, school groups and organizations)
· Stay up-to-date on knowledge of the Royals, Kauffman Stadium and Major League Baseball
· Serve as the opener when assigned, ensuring the tour route is ready for the day (doors unlocked, lights on, tour areas accessible)
· Politely greet guests as they arrive
· Guide guests around Kauffman Stadium, following standard tour itineraries in the time allotted
· Ability to work and communicate effectively with teammates
Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Public speaking experience
- Knowledge of the Kansas City Royals, Kauffman Stadium and Kansas City history
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds
· Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
· Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
· Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
· Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

This role is a Part-Time, Non-Exempt opportunity that is not eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. The schedule for this position is dependent on our team schedule and is subject to change.
