Manage 24/7 infrastructure operations for HS-E B I T . Conduct practical resource planning to maximize the productivity of resources (people, technology, etc.). Organize technician scheduling, including after-hours support and on-call schedules. Act as an escalation point for after-hours and on-call issues. Manage outgoing infrastructure communications. Supervise HS-EBIT's infrastructure functions and provide direction and project schedules for these functions. These functions include proactive preparation of disaster recovery, audits, and security of the various infrastructure technical platforms. Position oversees the administration and documentation of important infrastructure policies, procedures, processes, and operations. Ensure that IT asset inventories are maintained, and records are up to date.

Qualifications
Required Education*: Associate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology or related degree. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. (Transcript required with application.)

Minimum Qualifications*:

  • Three years’ experience in a distributed computing environment, supervising, and leading an infrastructure team.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications: Five years’ experience in supervising and managing technical staff.

  • Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
