Examples of work performed:
- Handle routine administrative duties for the Court Administrator.
- Handle Human Resources, personnel, benefit records, answer payroll questions
- Manage foreign language and ASL interpreter scheduling.
- Provide onboarding and instruction to new employees.
- Handle inquiries from the OJA, all court personnel, judges, attorneys, external stakeholders, jurors, and the public.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; willingness and ability to learn court specific software including JazzHR, GoCo, Centralized Case Management System (CCMS / Odyssey), Finance Enterprise, Questica, and any other technology assigned.
- Serve as a liaison between departments and divisions within the court system, vendors, and the public.
- Prepare budget forecasts and monitor expenditures of all departments of the court system.
- Maintain inventory of all furniture and equipment.
- Maintain and control maintenance contracts and service work on all machines and equipment, as assigned.
- Other duties that may be assigned by the Court Administrator
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and arithmetic.
- Ability to provide direction and guidance to staff members, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to create professional documents and emails and maintain organized electronic records of the same.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and establish and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Skills in the use of office technology including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and court specific software.
