Join our team of excellent Radiology Techs in a busy orthopaedic clinic! No weekends, no late nights and no holiday work!
Position schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform radiologic examinations, provide appropriate educational information to patients and process images.
Obtain and document insurance authorization and referrals as needed.
Ensure connectivity of radiology systems.
Perform appropriate patient screening and document all information pertinent to patient treatment.
Maintain accurate film and exam files, logs and statistics.
Ensure availability of all radiographic images.
Observes universal precautions and OSHA requirements for healthcare facilities.
Return and respond to all calls relating to patient care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Board eligible or board certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Current Kansas licensure, or ability to obtain this within 3 months of date of hire
1 year experience performing radiology exams, preferably in orthopaedics
Demonstrates the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Sound knowledge regarding x-ray techniques according to state regulations
Proficiency with Windows based applications
