Tire Service Technician - Commercial Fleet- Semi Tires

Kansas Paving / Kansas Ready Mix is looking for an amazing, experienced Tire Technician to inspect, repair, install and maintain commercial tires on our entire fleet ranging from light duty pick-up trucks to Commercial equipment and heavy Commercial vehicles, such as dump trucks, cement mixers, and tractors and trailers.

This is a full-time position!

The full-time position requires some Saturday work. We are urgently hiring! Hiring immediately!

The right candidate will be:

· a previous or current tire or automotive technician

· a previous or current mechanic or other type of relatable field

· able to troubleshoot

· able to work with minimal supervision

and preferably have the following knowledge:

· automotive

· truck

· diesel

· CDL

· Heavy Equipment Repair

The qualified applicant:

· Must have own tools,

· Must past drug test,

· Must be reliable.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Inspect tires on all fleet vehicles and equipment
• Install new tires and wheels on fleet vehicles and equipment
• Participates in training, follows safety procedures at all times, performs job duties and all company policies
• Conducts basic cleaning and basic maintenance
• Always applies a helpful, friendly, team-focused attitude
• Must be reliable
• Answer road calls
• Maintain vehicle records as required
• Maintain and repair fleet equipment
• Fill out all necessary documents
• Maintain records such as daily check list (pre-trip inspection)
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
