Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Support the cooking staff by helping with cooking tasks and ensuring that all food safety standards are met.
- Buss tables and assist with serving food to guests when required.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of meals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in inventory management by helping to stock supplies and report shortages.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is a plus.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques or cooking experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
