Regular Part-Time, Non-Exempt
$12 per hour
Actively hiring for Summer 2025
- Ability to commit a minimum of 12hrs/week during the school year, with a preference of 15hrs/week.
- Students are eligible to work up to 40 hours/week during the summer, based on departmental needs. Preference given to students eligible to work a minimum of 20hrs/week.
- Preference given to applicants with coursework related to marketing, advertising and/or communications

The Marketing Communications Assistant provides support to Kansas State University Foundation marketing communications team. This position gains valuable experience while contributing to a variety of marketing-related tasks.
A day in the life of a Marketing Communications student could be:
Digital Content
Assist with the creation and deployment of digital content including social media and email. Assist with the tracking and analysis of digital campaigns on social media, email and web.
Marketing Communications Support
Manage monthly staff portrait sessions, including scheduling, photo session coordination and staff image selections. Enter audience interactions from various social media, email and print deployments into salesforce/CRM. Clerical assistance for the Marketing Communications team, including data entry, and form processing.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in coursework at Kansas State University
- Strong ability to enter data accurately and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
