This role focuses on welcoming patients to the Imaging and Outpatient Physical Therapy departments. Key responsibilities include scheduling appointments, preparing patient medical records, registering and receiving patients, managing incoming calls and coordinating patient activities. Additionally, the position involves performing insurance verification and securing prior authorizations for the Imaging and Outpatient Physical Therapy departments.
HOURS
Full-time position. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.
At least one year of experience in a hospital or medical office environment preferred. Must be professional in delivering the spoken and written word as well as HIPAA compliant. Must be able to multitask and accept additional duties depending on hospital needs
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required. Prefer formal training in medical terminology and computer courses.
