Role Description
This is a full-time 11 Month (12Month pay), full benefit, on-site role for an Athletic Trainer at Kansas Wesleyan University located in Salina, KS. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for injury prevention, athletic training services, and rehabilitation in a competitive collegiate sports environment. Primary sports responsibilities will be evaluated upon experience, but likely either a fall/spring sport such as Soccer/Softball or Fall/Winter sport such as Volleyball/Basketball. The successful candidate will work on the sports medicine team with 3 other Athletic Trainers. Position to start July 21, 2025.
Qualifications
- Injury Prevention skills
- Athletic Training and Rehabilitation experience
- Ability to work effectively in a collegiate sports setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills working in a team environment
- Certification as an Athletic Trainer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training
