Job Title: Dental Hygienist for Pediatric Care
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality dental care to children at Kansas Youth Dental & Braces, a Benevis company.
About the Role:
As a key member of our dental team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and participating in community outreach programs to promote oral health among young patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures under the general supervision of a dentist.
- Deliver excellent customer service by offering same-day care when possible.
- Educate patients and parents on effective oral hygiene practices.
- Assess patients' dental condition and needs, reviewing their medical history as necessary.
- Adhere to all relevant government regulations and company standards.
- Guide patients and parents through the entire treatment process.
- Assist with dental charting when necessary.
- Take x-rays and save them into patient charts when required.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
- Experience is beneficial but not always required.
- Proficiency in another language is highly valued.
