The Stafford Ampride Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations and personnel to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient business performance. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive team environment through clear communication, collaboration, and shared services across locations. Additionally, the manager upholds company standards by promoting workplace safety and adhering to all established policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Delivers exceptional customer service by promptly addressing questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy, always striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Maintains consistent and reliable attendance, with the flexibility to work variable schedules including days, shifts, weekends, overtime, and 24-hour on-call availability.
- Oversees all aspects of daily store operations, including:
- Training and developing employees to ensure top performance
- Managing accounting tasks such as payroll, bookkeeping, invoicing, deposits, daily reports, and communication with the home office
- Coordinating with vendors for inventory management and ordering
- Processing refunds, returns, and contracts accurately
- Maintaining thorough and accurate store logs and operational records
- Supports sales and marketing efforts through effective merchandising and promotional strategies.
- Provides a friendly, helpful experience by greeting customers and answering calls with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of store products and services, while ensuring safe operation of food preparation equipment and accurate food order processing.
- Efficiently handles point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including making change and balancing the cash drawer.
- Monitors inventory levels, conducts audits, stocks shelves, and ensures product availability.
- Maintains a clean, organized store environment, performing both interior and exterior housekeeping duties.
- Keeps detailed operational records, including shift reports and vendor check-in logs.
- Ensures compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and state/federal regulations.
- Communicates effectively—both verbally and in writing—with customers, team members, and management.
- Promotes a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability at all times.
- Maintains a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Stafford Ampride Manager provides direct supervision to all location employees, ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance with state and federal regulations. Key duties include interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and resolving employee or customer concerns. This role also collaborates closely with other managers to drive operational excellence and deliver outstanding customer service.

Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
