We're seeking Seasonal Elevator Operators who will play a key role in providing excellent customer service by accurately operating the scale and assisting with daily operational and maintenance tasks. This is a short-term summer position that supports peak seasonal demands, with the harvest period typically lasting around three weeks. - Greet customers in a courteous, positive manner and assist with inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a prompt and professional way.
- Load and unload grain trucks, inspect grain for moisture, insects, and foreign material.
- Operate equipment to move grain into storage or loadout, including conveyors, trippers, and flow pipes.
- Monitor grain temperatures using thermometers and record readings.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on elevator equipment.
- Fill anhydrous ammonia tanks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized facility that meets safety and operational standards.
- Work a flexible schedule during harvest season, including variable days, shifts, and potential overtime.
- Accurately complete required paperwork and maintain clear verbal/written communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures; maintain a professional appearance and punctual attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and location goals.
