POSITION SUMMARY
As a Chemist, you will be primarily responsible for inkjet ink development for customer use in packaging, mailing, wide format, security, novel, and other applications.
- Formulate ink and perform color matches for customers.
- Conduct laboratory testing on products.
- Prepare results summary of projects.
- Lead technical problem-solving efforts for customers.
- Sample preparation including physical property measurement, printer operation and maintenance, and data analysis with documentation.
- Conduct raw material research, procurement, and evaluation.
As a Chemist you will need;
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or similar field.
- Experience in a laboratory environment and equipment including Viscometers, Spectrophotometers, Conductivity meters, Colorimeters, Refractive Index, Surface Tensiometer, Microscope, Energy curable light sources (UV, LED, E-beam), and FTIR.
- Ink or coatings experience preferred.
