What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional position at Kapalama Elementary School?
Daily work with our students in the special needs classrooms. Pre-school and a fully self-contained classroom for mostly Autistic Spectrum Students. These students are very precious to us. Our students need assistance with routines, one-to-one assistance in instruction, and implementing their Individual Educational Program goals and objectives. Each student has individual goals that need to be worked on. If you are looking for a high-need, high-impact job, this is the job for you. Some of the job duties include but are not limited to; assisting with tracing, alphabet writing, number recognition, coloring, and collecting data. Ensuring that students sit in small groups, and supervise restroom breaks, and playground time.

Pay: From $18.97 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 19 per week
