About the Role :
As a Senior Commercial Construction Estimator, you will be a vital part of our preconstruction team, responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to generate accurate cost estimates. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to secure and execute high-profile commercial construction projects. You’ll collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to develop comprehensive cost assessments and ensure competitive, profitable bids.
What You’ll Do :
- Lead the estimation process for commercial construction projects, from conceptual budgeting to final bid submission.
- Analyze architectural and engineering plans, project specifications, and addenda to determine scope and costs.
- Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates by soliciting and evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors while ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine project estimates and scope.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and industry trends.
- Assist in value engineering and project scheduling to optimize cost efficiency.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
