Superintendent

Kapella Group / Global Construction, an industry-leading general contractor operating in FL, CO, AZ, WA, KS, and TX, is seeking a Renovations Superintendent with 7  years of experience for commercial / multifamily renovation projects ranging between $150K and $10 Million. The position will be based in our Miami, FL division. Prior experience working on commercial renovation projects, including Senior Living Facilities, Multifamily, Hotels, and Occupied spaces is highly recommended. Global Constructions offers a stable work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on-site to oversee and lead the entire construction process
• Monitor the performance, progress, and quality of the projects
• Work closely with the Project Management staff to set and manage performance goals and deadlines
• Check the means and methods implemented on the project
• Set up and manage the project schedule and budgets
• Supervise staff and subcontractors and provide constructive feedback
• Keep track of material stock and orders
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly and adhere to all internal Covid-19 protocols.
• Communicate with clients and internal team on project progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 5 years of commercial renovation with general contractor experience in occupied spaces, with a focus on interior tenant improvements in multifamily, senior living, and / or hospitality markets is preferred.
