Job Details
This is a "Contract to Hire " hybrid work position with some flexibility in hours. Employees will be expected to deliver a full 40-hour week; must be available for a schedule in between these working hours: 7am and 6pm MST.
This resource must be able to work independently and work as a member of a team. This is a fulltime contract with the potential for a contract-to-hire position located in Missoula, Montana. Remote candidates will be considered with ability to travel to Missoula, MT, Butte, MT, and Vancouver, BC, Canada several times a year.
Skill Requirements:
- The resource cannot be purely functional; they need technical expertise as well.
- Modules include Core HR, Benefits, Absence, Learning, Talent, and ORC (no Payroll for all seven companies).
- Must troubleshoot work independently, identify logic gaps, and test outputs.
- Broad experience base is required; ideally more senior than the current team members.
- Wendy handles most of the Benefits module work due to the other analyst's limitations.
HCM Solutions Analyst will provide quality HR solutions for our Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their HR business functions and processes in order to provide solutions, and ensuring the efficient operation of the HCM system. Work is done in a team HRIS setting collaboration is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance and Support:
- Provide functional support for Oracle HCM system
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to Oracle HCM applications
- Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing for quarterly releases as well as development
- Independently research issues, bugs, community boards for resolutions
- Maintain SRs when applicable
Enhancements and changes:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for system changes and enhancements
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solutions
- Provide guidance and training to end-users on system functionalities and best practices
- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions and enhancements within the Oracle HCM framework
- Using OneSource and standard documentation, record activity on development
- Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing for development
