Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Support residents in maintaining their personal hygiene and cleanliness.
- Monitor and document residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate staff.
- Implement behavior management strategies as needed to promote positive interactions among residents.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Ensure the living environment is safe, clean, and conducive to the well-being of all residents.
- Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in senior care and developmental disabilities support.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in group home settings or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of daily living activities (ADLs) and behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
