Job Summary
We are seeking a full time Registered nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will provide essential nursing care under health Service Director , ensuring that resident is receiving high-quality . The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. (As needed)
- Monitor residents vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Perform basic life support (BLS) as required.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management, family planning, and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, particularly in medical-surgical units and pediatrics.
- Assist with procedures such as dialyzing patients when necessary.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
- On call every other weekend
Skills
- Proficient understanding of medical-surgical nursing practices.
- Familiarity with trauma center protocols, particularly in Level I and Level II settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Ability to perform basic life support techniques competently.
- Experience or training in pediatrics is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in patient care documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively within various systems used in healthcare settings.
