This generalist role serves as a trusted advisor for the organization and will support a broad range of objectives including workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, recruitment, legal compliance, safety programs, training/development, and campus events.

The Human Resources Administrator plays a vital role in preparing the organization for future success and long-term growth. This generalist role serves as a trusted advisor for the organization and will support a broad range of objectives including workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, recruitment, legal compliance, safety programs, training/development, and campus events.
Principal Accountabilities
- Provides support for high level projects and/or initiatives such as implementing recognition programs, establishing unified onboarding procedures for best-in-class candidate experiences to include training and development programs.
- Focused on maintaining operational efficiency and proactively identifying solutions to support the organization while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Collaborates across the organization to support team members, manage inquiries, and promote a positive work environment.
- Responsible for maintaining open position requisitions for full lifecycle recruitment to include managing the ATS, position advertisements, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference / background evaluations and preparing compliant new hire employment offers.
- Develops sourcing strategies to grow the talent pipeline and to enhance visibility. Committed to attracting and retaining a diverse workforce to create better teams and better solutions.
- Responsible for obtaining an in-depth knowledge of job specifications necessary to identify candidates who meet the essential position requirements.
- Provides up-to-date, accurate, and value-added market competitive intelligence on trends affecting the labor market and economic conditions.
- Assists in managing employee relations, participates in internal investigations to ensure objectivity and mitigate risk.
- Assists in managing annual EEOC and Affirmative Action reporting and responding to related informational requests from various departments.
- Assists with compliance audits and reviews, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to best practices.
- Monitor and research changes in federal, state and local regulations and provide actionable recommendations to maintain compliance.
- Assists in the draft, review, and updates of employee manual, policies, and procedures ensuring compliance with multi-state employment laws and regulations.
- Prepares communications, reports, presentations and participates in identifying / delivering relevant training to managers and team members.
- Prepares program related metrics / analytics to aid in decision-making.
- Assists in managing workers' compensation programs, claims submissions, annual reporting and identifying training requirements.
- Partners with HR team to manage projects and ensure successful outcomes.
- Assists with other day-to-day HR operations as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 2-4 years preferred progressive experience in human resources.
- 3 - 5 years direct customer service experience.
- Working knowledge / understanding of labor laws and regulations.
- Must possess a high degree of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Prefer experience in talent acquisition conducting full lifecycle recruitment for management, administrative and warehouse positions, or equivalent education / experience in talent acquisition and HR disciplines.
- Minimum 2-4 years preferred experience working with an ATS, job boards and social media to engage talent.
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to listen and adapt messaging and identify solutions.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply HR laws and regulations.
- Critical thinker who can independently solve problems and offer innovative solutions.
- A highly visible position with excellent relationship building and consultative skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members and management.
- Time management and organizational skills with the ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced environment.
- Knows how to prioritize, multi-task and follow-up with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Microsoft Excel, preferred.
- A collaborator who enjoys working independently and on a team.
- Certificate in HR (e.g. SHRM-CP or HRIC-PHR), preferred.
