About the Position:
Our Playground Support Representative will contribute to the overall success of the department by assisting customers with service inquiries as well as answering initial playground equipment and site questions through phone and email communication. Customer satisfaction is the main priority.
Work Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the initial customer contact from incoming phone calls and emails, vendors, inter-office departments and Kaplan Sales Representatives.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding service, account and product/shipment issues.
- Analyze solutions and take appropriate action to ensure resolution, documentation and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for triage of all incoming calls and emails from Playground inbox and distributing them to correct contact in Playground Department.
- Create Direct Ship quotes based on customer requests.
- Enter Direct Ship orders in the system.
- Track and maintain status of all Direct Shipments from vendor to customer.
Position Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent with three years customer service experience. Sales background a plus.
- PC literate with proficiency in basic Excel/Word/Outlook. Good data entry & 10-key skills. Peoplesoft and HubSpot experience a plus but not a requirement.
- Self-motivated individual who can support and guide customer requirements from inception to finished product.
- Ability to establish strong rapport with customers to insure a positive experience for the customer.
- Ability to prioritize, resolve problems and make decisions within guidelines.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with internal/external customers and suppliers.
- Professional interpersonal skills with excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills. .
- Possess a high level of attention to detail with ability to shift priorities with a sense of urgency.
- Exhibit flexibility with scheduled hours, as occasionally needed, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team-focused and flexible to changing business demands with proven ability to work effectively autonomously.
