Overview
We are seeking data-driven passionate-about-numbers individual to manage client accounts for a busy law firm in Greeley, Colorado. Basic Accounting knowledge is mandatory.
Duties
- Process client funds into and out of our COLTAF Account. We receive about 3,800 checks a year and send out about the same number of checks and wires.
- Calculate and take the fee due the office from each check.
- Process expense payments incurred by the law firm on behalf of clients and make sure the law firm is reimbursed for these expenses.
- Prepare final disbursements, which can involve detailing and tracking money owed and paid to the client and to the firm.
- Accounting Entries into our Bookkeeping Progam (We use Accountedge).
- Confirming payout of admitted amounts to clients.
Requirements
- Bookkeeping our accounting experience or training.
- Experience with Excel, basic accounting principles, and accounting programs.
- Exceptional communication skills to explain to staff and clients what is happening with the money.
- Spanish is a huge plus but not required.
