• Work schedule: Monday - Thursday, approximately 6:00am - 3:30pm, Friday, approximately 6:00am - 10:00am

Summary/Objective:

The Warehouse & Shipping Clerk works in a manufacturing warehouse environment and verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming product from the Production Plant, sort and locate product to correct inventory location.
• Run daily reports to determine items to be shipped.
• Print pick tickets and prepare shipments per instruction.
• Pack, label, and prepare shipment for transport.
• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures of items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of landing, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Use a computer for data entry, inventory management, and reports.
• Perform cycle counts per accounting guidelines to maintain accurate inventory.
• Daily housekeeping.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to drive a forklift.
• Intermediate computer skills to include ERP software.
• Basic math skills including an advanced understanding of units of measure, fractions, and decimals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Production experience preferred.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
