Kappus Plastic in Hampton, NJ is seeking an Account Representative to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Routinely call and email existing accounts to develop relationships.
- Regular cold calls to increase customer base
- Monitor and promptly respond to communications from current and potential customers.
- Prepare detailed call reports for all customer contacts
- Quote standard and specialty items
- Enter orders, order changes as received and generate acknowledgements. Process samples, letters, emails and faxes.
- Check customer’s confirmations against their in-house orders for accuracy.
- Monitor order to delivery cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work well with multiple internal departments to facilitate resolution of issues
- Inform customer of any issues and/or delays as soon as known.
- Attend and participate in routine department sales meetings to assist in coordination of all sales and marketing activities therein.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two to three years sales and/or customer service experience.
- Personable, with a positive can-do attitude.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized with good time management and planning skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong follow-up ability on myriad of detail activities.
