Overall Assignment Description:

The Advanced Research Projects Agency -Health (ARPA-H) requires a technical writer to develop communications and content/editorial plans and offer strategic recommendations for improved content and delivery of agency information. Draft all forms of content (scientific writing, web content, blog posts, press releases, backgrounders, talking points, slides, eblast/newsletter copy, memos, and reports for intended audiences). Monitor content performance and work to improve performance and outreach.

Required skills and Demonstrated Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree

· At least eight years of experience in science/health care writing

· Experience developing content for websites and social media (e.g. LinkedIn)

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Ability to take disparate, vague concepts and distill into bullets and other written communications

· Proven ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

· Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA), HHS, or NIH experience

Salary: $140k-$150k

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
