Are you a skilled data scientist eager to leverage your expertise to support US Army Pacific (USARPAC) operations within the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR)? If so, this Data Scientist position could be your perfect opportunity.

In this dynamic role, you'll be a key player in transforming raw data into actionable insights that empower USARPAC to achieve its strategic objectives. You'll collaborate closely with various teams to :

Advanced Analytics : Develop and implement innovative statistical models to analyze complex data sets and uncover hidden patterns.
Data-Driven Decisions : Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Effective Communication : Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across USARPAC, ensuring clear and concise communication.

We're looking for a highly skilled data scientist with :

Proven Experience : A minimum of seven years of experience in data science, demonstrating a strong track record of success.

Technical Expertise : Proficiency in data mining, mathematics, statistical analysis, and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL).

Modeling and Analysis : Experience with pattern recognition, predictive modeling, and data cleaning and validation techniques.

Visualization Skills : The ability to effectively communicate complex data insights using tools like Tableau.

Collaborative Spirit : A strong desire to work effectively within a team environment on multiple projects simultaneously.

Staying Current : A commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest advancements in data science and analytics.

An ideal candidate will also possess :

Active Security Clearance

Academic Background : A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field.

Project Management : Prior experience leading and managing data science projects is a plus.

Professional Certification : A relevant professional certification in data science is a desirable qualification.

USARPAC's Data Science Environment :

Within USARPAC, you'll leverage your expertise to support a wide range of initiatives across the INDOPACOM region. Your responsibilities will encompass :

Strategic Partnership : Collaborate with product, sales, leadership, and marketing teams to identify data-driven solutions for optimizing USARPAC operations.

Data Exploration : Mine and analyze data from various sources to identify opportunities for improving product development, mission planning, and resource allocation.

Modeling and Simulation : Develop custom data models and algorithms to analyze complex scenarios and predict potential outcomes.

Performance Optimization : Implement A / B testing frameworks and monitor model performance to ensure continuous improvement.

Communication and Innovation : Clearly communicate data insights to stakeholders across USARPAC and champion a culture of data-driven decision-making.
