Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Survey Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for field surveying and be excited about contributing to projects in Milwaukee, WI.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of survey data.
- Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to obtain accurate and reliable data collection.
- Operate and maintain surveying instruments and tools.
- Perform land measurements and boundary calculations.
- Understand surveying standards and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project objectives.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during fieldwork.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Surveying or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in land surveying is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
