The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) will be responsible for supporting the Treats brand team to build the Brownie Brittle business and deliver our annual plan. The Treats team, which includes Brownie Brittle and Sanders, is a high-priority, fast-growing business for Second Nature Brands. This role reports to the Treats Brand Manager.
The Brownie Brittle Sr/ABM will have the opportunity to make an impact right away. He/she will assist in the development of brand strategy and annual marketing plans to achieve specific brand objectives, including delivery of sales, share and velocity targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the voice of the Brownie Brittle business and represent Marketing within cross functional teams on development and execution of key initiatives including new product launches and core portfolio optimization
- Analyze & review brand performance, competitive dynamics, and category trends to offer recommendations for innovation, plans, social media and execution
- Influence brand strategy and growth opportunity recommendations leveraging customer, consumer, and brand data and insights
- Support the execution of the annual marketing programs, manage promotions, and other marketing mix elements (e.g., packaging changes)
- Responsible for P&L oversight of Brownie Brittle brand and products with support from Brand Manager
- Support agency execution on a day-to-day basis (e.g. shopper marketing, licensing execution, digital etc.)
- Work with the Customer Marketing team on consumer/brand specific content required for selling and executional success including best-in-class selling materials (Ready to Sell, Forecasting Input on Innovation etc.)
- Partner with the Digital Marketing team on social content and calendars and ecommerce new item creation/setup
- Partner with Customer Marketing and Demand Planning teams on new item and program-specific forecasting
- Monitor Brownie Brittle brand expenditures and help manage the Brownie Brittle Marketing budget
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or related area of study, preferred
- 2 years prior work experience within CPG industry
- Metro Detroit area, preferred
- Microsoft Suite proficiency
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening)
- Strong interpersonal skills, solution-orientation and creative problem solving
- Proven leadership capability
- Proven analytic skills. Must be comfortable mining and analyzing data, then developing clear and actionable conclusions/recommendations. Experience with IRI or Nielsen.
- Proficient in managing projects. Well organized, successful at prioritization, attentive to details, clear oral and written communicator.
- Biased toward action. Takes initiative, entrepreneurial, can hit the ground running and move multiple projects forward right away

Salary : $63,500 - $80,400
