We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands 4x from $500MM to $1 B in the next 4 years through a combination of organic growth (increased distribution, e-commerce, and innovation) and through M&A. We have an opening for a Chocolate Technician position, who will be an important member of the supply chain team during this growth.
A Chocolate Technician is a vital member of our production team, assists in the process of creating our signature square shaped caramels by tempering / manage the chocolate production! This is a new role that will give you more flexibility as you learn different roles to be adapt to what's needed.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Manage chocolate enrobber and bottomer machine to ensure temperature levels remain constant;
- Temper chocolate
- Monitor Stringer machine as you check for quality, weight, & uniformity
- Cleaning and sanitizing the equipment used to make candy;
- Quality control of caramel squares on production line to check for weight & uniformity
- Tracking inventory using ERP system;
- Consistently adding sea salt to machine;
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Preform other related duties as assigned

Afternoon 2 : 00pm to 11 : 00pm shift Monday through Friday . Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work overtime, and weekends as needed.
The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium for afternoons and midnights.
