We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands from $500MM to $1 B in the next 3 years through a combination of organic growth (increased distribution, e-commerce, and innovation) and through M&A. We have an opening for a, Warehouse Clerk who will be an important member of the supply chain team during this growth. This position will be based out of our Kar’s Nuts Products facility located at 1200 East 14 Mile in Madison Heights, Michigan.
This role ensures that the SAP system is effectively utilized for inventory tracking, order management, reporting, and other key functions. The Warehouse clerk will work closely with the supply chain team to streamline operations and improve efficiency through the system.
Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with weekday or weekend overtime as needed. The starting rate is $18 per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and support the use of SAP for various supply chain functions, including inventory management, order processing, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate data entry in SAP for inventory levels, order statuses, shipments, and procurement, maintaining up-to-date information at all times.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure smooth and efficient operations by providing SAP support for order fulfillment, shipment tracking, and inventory updates.
- Track and update order statuses in SAP, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and resolving any issues that arise during the process.
- Assist with troubleshooting system issues related to SAP, working with IT or SAP support teams to resolve technical problems.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on SAP usage, ensuring that all team members are effectively utilizing the system to perform their tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience working with SAP in a supply chain or inventory management capacity. S/4 HANA (Preferred).
- Understanding of supply chain operations, including inventory control, order management, procurement, and shipping/receiving.
- Strong focus on ensuring accuracy in data entry and reporting within the SAP system.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide support to those using the SAP system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and SAP reporting tools.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple SAP-related tasks and prioritize them effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments, especially within the supply chain team, to ensure smooth operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics role.
- Familiarity with SAP (S/4 HANA) modules specific to supply chain management
This position requires the ability to:
- Frequently walk on stand, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp and reach overhead
