What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Materials Handler- Afternoon Shift 3p-11p position at Kar Nut Products Co?
We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands 4x from $500MM to $1 B in the next 4 years through a combination of organic growth (increased distribution, e-commerce, and innovation) and through M&A.
We have an opening for a Warehouse Associate, who will be an important member of the supply chain team during this growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Wrap and prepare pallets for shipment;
- Gather materials for the production team;
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness;
- Ensure safe and sanitary work area;
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks as needed;
- Stage materials for following days production;
- Operate an industrial fork truck, power or manual jack, and pallet wrapper.
- Operate a standing and sitting Hilo
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Preform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse experience in a food manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Prior experience operating a standing and sitting Hilo Fork truck (required)
- Display good work ethic, positive attitude, and dependability
- Must have excellent attendance;
- Must be available to work weekend and overtime as (required)
Physical Requirements
- Can stand, bend, reach, and kneel, for extended periods frequently.
- Can walk up and down stairs frequently.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be high and employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment. This is an indoor food manufacturing setting.

Starting pay rate $17.20 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium
