Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on surveillance, loss prevention, and effective conflict management. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the premises through constant monitoring and adherence to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Check driver's in and out of the plant.
• Responsible to weighing in the Cattle trucks.
• Maintain Product Protection Rounds.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure safety and security compliance.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining order and providing assistance to visitors as needed.
• Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as required in emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license may be required based on job location and responsibilities.
