Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Polytype dry offset printing press for production runs.
- Set up press components, including plates, inks, and substrates, according to job specifications.
- Monitor press operation to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
- Operate UV curing systems to cure printed materials efficiently.
- Monitor UV lamp intensity and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal curing conditions.
- Conduct regular quality checks to verify that printed materials meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the printing press and UV curing system to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate production records, including job setup information, material usage, and quality inspection results.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training in printing operations preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with UV curing processes and equipment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality printed materials.
- Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
- Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
