What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Revenue Accountant (U.S., Select States - 100% Remote) position at Karat?
What you will do
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate revenue recognition, as well as support strategic initiatives and financial planning and analysis.
This is a fully remote position, but we are only considering U.S.-based candidates in Illinois, Oregon, Texas, or Washington. Working hours will predominantly be Central Time; some meetings may overlap with more global timezones.

- Own the day-to-day of the revenue accounting process, ensuring compliance with GAAP (ASC 606). This includes, but is not limited to :
- Reviewing revenue contracts and agreements
- Performing regular audits along the entire revenue stream
- Working cross-functionally with various stakeholders to ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue reporting is accurate and complete
- Perform invoicing and collection functions for the company.
- Participate in the planning and implementing of accounting, billing, and other business systems.
- Work with partners in Go-to-Market and Accounting to ensure sales commissions are calculated and recorded accurately.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This role may be eligible for additional rewards, including commissions, bonuses, and equity.The base salary pay range across the United States for this role is : $81,600—$115,000 USD
