Karbon is looking for a FP&A Manager to partner with our recently hired CFO, Brett Miller. As part of the team, you will work cross functionally to help streamline and improve business processes. As a partner to the various business functions, you will work with department leads to define KPI's, and help deliver valuable insights and recommendations to the business.
What You'll Do :
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Lead the annual budgeting process and continuous forecasting efforts. Monitor financial performance against strategic goals, identifying risks and opportunities, and refining financial forecasts in collaboration with business partners.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis : Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and variances to provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Ensure financial reporting processes are efficient and automated, enabling more focus on analysis rather than manual data synthesis.
- Strategic Decision Support : Provide financial guidance for key business decisions, including potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives. Develop financial models to assess various business scenarios and guide executive leadership in making informed decisions.
- Continuous Improvement & Automation : Challenge the status quo by driving continuous improvement and standardization of core FP&A processes. Evaluate and enhance current tools and processes to improve efficiency and add value. Leverage data and automation to refine financial reporting and forecasting, and develop dashboards to track KPIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Build strong partnerships with finance, accounting, treasury, and other departments to ensure consistency in budgeting, reporting, and analysis. Align cross-functional teams to meet financial objectives and drive efficiencies within the business.
- Stakeholder Communication : Present financial insights and recommendations to senior executives, the board of directors, and other key stakeholders. Prepare and deliver strategic materials that guide decision-making and accountability.
- Performance Management : Act as the business owner of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform and collaborate with the Finance Data & Analytics team to provide a consistent view of financial data. Design and build dashboards to monitor performance metrics and enhance decision-making capabilities.
