IV Therapy Medical Assistant

Kare Health & Wellness is currently seeking a friendly and organized Medical Assistant to join our IV Therapy Team. As a crucial player on our IV therapy team, you will support both staff and patients to ensure an enjoyable and effective treatment session.

Your responsibilities will include setting up infusion equipment, monitoring patients during infusion sessions, and providing compassionate care to ensure patient comfort and safety. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining inventory, organizing treatment rooms, supporting laundry services, and cleaning seats and equipment.

Job Summary:

• Full Time
• Monday - Friday
• No Weekends / No Nights / No Major Holidays
• Clinic setting

Job Duties include:

• Set up infusion equipment, including IV catheters, tubing, ensuring proper functioning and sterility.
• Monitor patients throughout infusion sessions, assessing vital signs.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of IV supplies
• Clean and sterilize equipment and treatment rooms after each use, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with laundry services, ensuing organization and replenishment of clean supplies
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Complete payment for patient services and schedule next appointment
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication.

Job Requirements:

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)

Experience

• Customer Service (required)
• Medical Clinic (preferred)

• Task orientated

• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Proficient Computer skills

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
