Compensation: $34 per hour

- Tuesday & Wednesday: San Rafael Office
- Thursday: Off
- Total Hours: 35 hours per week
Job Summary:
Our orthodontic practice is seeking a friendly, reliable, and organized Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support our orthodontists in providing high-quality care to our patients. This role is perfect for someone pursuing a career in dentistry—students of dentistry are welcome and encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontists during patient procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant experience or current dental student preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to travel between Petaluma and San Rafael offices
- Reliable transportation
