Job Description: Paris Baguette, a renowned international bakery café, is seeking passionate and experienced Bakers to join our team at our South Overland Park location. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of fresh, high-quality baked goods in accordance with Paris Baguette's recipes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to company recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and taste of all baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of baking area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor inventory and inform management regarding supplies and ingredient needs.
- Assist in training and mentoring new baking staff.
- Support team members to maintain a productive and positive working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous baking experience preferred (minimum 1 year), ideally in a bakery, café, or similar setting.
- Culinary or Baking certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow precise recipes and detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, with emphasis on quality and consistency.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, involving exposure to heat from ovens and handling bakery equipment.
