Part-Time Bookkeeper
Kari Whitman Interiors, an upscale interior design firm in Boulder, CO, is searching for an experienced part-time bookkeeper to support a busy and successful entrepreneur. If spreadsheets, data entry, and numbers are your bread and butter, you’re in the right place! This is a part-time (20hrs per week), in-office (not remote) position.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining financial spreadsheets
- Data Entry
- Credit Card and Bank Account balancing
- Invoicing clients
- Maintaining and correcting complex invoices for clients
- Maintaining and implementing an accurate filing system
Requirements:
- MUST be extremely competent with Microsoft Excel (this is nonnegotiable for this role and absolutely required to be successful in the role- must rate yourself at least 9/10 on a scale of 1-10)
- MUST have a minimum 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accountant
- MUST have a degree or accreditation in accounting, bookkeeping, etc
- Must be very computer savvy in general
- Must feel comfortable and confident in working and handling tasks independently with little to no supervision
- Must have continual access to a laptop computer
- Must be comfortable working with dogs in the office
Hours:
- Our office is open 10am-7pm, M-F, but as this job is part-time, we would need you to be in the office 2 days per week for a full day OR 3 days per week for a half day. This could be any days between Tuesday and Friday, depending on what works best for your schedule, as we can be quite flexible about what times/days you report for work.
Compensation:
- This position will be paid hourly at $50 per hour
