What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher position at Karing 4 Kids?
- Plan and implement daily developmental learning models for infant, toddler, or preschool age children, incorporating differences in individual styles and pace of learning.
- Maintain a physical environment that promotes development and positive social interaction
- Implement developmentally appropriate reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social activities that enhance children’s knowledge and overall development.
- Develop and implement Individualized Lesson Plans for all children
- Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, conferences, workshops and other
career development and professional activities.
Qualifications:
- A CDA, Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field from an accredited college or university
- Understanding of diverse cultures and experience working with diverse populations, including low to moderate-income families
- Previous ECE experience preferred
- Ability to work with and teach infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers
- Computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and record data efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
