Role Overview
Lead and oversee the DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Information Security (InfoSec), and DevSecOps teams in a SaaS company, ensuring optimal cloud operations, service reliability, product quality, and robust security measures.
What you'll be doing :
- Develop and implement cloud operations and security strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage and mentor DevOps, SRE, InfoSec, and DevSecOps team leads
- Drive continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI / CD processes, and security practices
- Oversee incident management, resolution processes, and security incident response
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards, including implementing and maintaining a comprehensive information security program
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization while maintaining a strong security posture
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance service reliability, performance, and security
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud operations and security metrics
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud operations and cybersecurity
- Implement GenAI-powered self-service platforms for other teams with robust security controls
- Develop and maintain AI-driven automation tools for cloud operations and security monitoring
- Oversee the integration of GenAI models into DevOps, SRE, and security workflows
- Establish best practices for responsible AI use in cloud operations and security
- Collaborate with data science teams to leverage AI for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and threat intelligence
- Lead the implementation of DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
