Karl Environmental is currently initiating a search for a full-time **Lead Environmental Consultant** to support our Pennsylvania strategies, along with our New Jersey and Maryland positions. Be involved in projects with our World and Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges.
The successful candidate will provide technical direction and lead client-facing teams in the investigation, design, implementation, and management of varied projects. They will also provide project leadership for corrective strategies, classification of contaminated materials, development of process and infrastructure, and assisting with recommendations involving air, water, and land reserves. They will ensure that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards.
· Provide strategic direction on remediation projects, including review of environmental work plans and data analysis and interpretation to determine the next course of action
· Use specialized environmental tools to analyze findings and interpret data from environmental impacts on projects
· Write reports on impact assessments and advise clients on how to minimize environmental impacts
· Advise clients on environmental regulations and regulatory compliance
· Manage projects through completion, on time and on budget
· Develop business through existing relationships
· Supervise, mentor and train junior staff
· Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards
· Experience in conducting environmental assessments and audits
· Able to work independently or as part of a team
B.S. degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or related field from an accredited college
5 to 10 years of applicable experience
Knowledgeable about relevant environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
The candidate must have strong computer and writing skills.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently and show a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications. Additionally, higher salary may be possible with professional qualifications.
$80,000 - $90,000.00 year
