Karl's Hardware is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Inventory Associate to join our team in Tehachapi!

We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and a wide selection of high-quality products for DIY enthusiasts, homeowners, and contractors.

Job Description: We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and supporting efficient store operations. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, this might be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

· Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments

· Organize and maintain stockrooms and storage areas

· Accurately record inventory levels and update inventory management systems

· Keep up with maintaining accurate product pricing

· Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies

· Assist with restocking shelves and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked

· Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling inventory

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in inventory management or a related field preferred

· Great with numbers and counting

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry

· Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
