What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evaluator I, 2nd position at KARL STORZ?
- Evaluate endoscopes (Fiber and/or Video) and document findings in SAP.
- Disassemble, decontaminate, and reassemble endoscopes as needed.
- Respond to customer questions and assist the warranty and complaint team.
- Inspect evaluations by team members for quality control.
- Maintain safety protocols when handling biohazardous materials and chemicals.
- Participate in training programs and support process improvements.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1 years’ experience in assembling or evaluating miniature medical products.
- Ability to understand product drawings and use hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic data entry skills and familiarity with SAP and MS Office.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with microscopes and hand tools for extended periods.
- Ability to work overtime and adhere to attendance guidelines.
- Fast-paced work environment, requiring quick learning and decision-making.
- Awareness of safety around biohazardous materials.
- Ability to process work efficiently and prioritize quality.
- Adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations, including ISO 14001, FDA, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to maintain productive working relationships and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure the cleanliness of work areas.
- Report material performance issues and complete required documentation.
