Senior Manager - Research & Development

Sr. Manager of R&D Opportunity at Karlsburger in Monticello, MN! For someone to be successful in this role, they must have previous experience

1. Developing the R&D strategy and establishing a product innovation pipeline
2. Building, leading, and managing an R&D team to develop savory products, including broths, soup bases, sauces, and gravies that utilize retort and aseptic processing
3. Overseeing all stages of product development, from ideation and formulation to commercialization and launch
4. Conducting market research and analyzing consumer trends to identify opportunities for new product innovation
5. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including FDA, USDA, SQF, Organic and other relevant food safety and labelling regulations
6. Optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost savings, and scalability in product development, and helping the team solve processing problems, including equipment selection
7. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet product launch deadlines
8. Staying current with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
9. Mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
