Karlsburger Foods is seeking a full time EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN. This role will work at our Corporate Headquarters located in Monticello, MN, and report directly to the Maintenance Manager. Hours would be 6:00AM-2:00PM Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to all equipment, production and facility work request in a timely manner consistent with the standards set by Karlsburger Foods
- Assist production operators with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving process and equipment failures.
- Maintain machines in safe working condition by performing preventative maintenance and repairs and scheduled or observed.
- Perform the proper record keeping procedures.
- Support equipment installations and major equipment repairs with necessary close coordination with Operations team and outside vendors to ensure minimal impacts.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Experience with Pneumatics, pumps, electrical maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed, team-based environment.
- CMMS, PC skills, Strong MS Suite Skills desired.
- Must be able to lift 50 LB repeatedly.
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Working great in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High Mechanical/Electrical Aptitude.
- Experience in the Food Industry.
- Boiler license.
