About us
We are a small cafe and health food restaurant. We are looking for friendly hardworking individulals to join our growing team! Work can be busy at times but we always keep a very relaxed atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines
- Prepare and present beverages according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, food service, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for retail transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
