LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Male-Urgently Hiring

Karma care is looking to urgently hire a male Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work for a client overnight from 8pm-8am for 3/4 days per week. Candidates must have experience working with developmentally challenged individuals, physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, and must be flexible.

Responsibilities:
 

·        Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and monitoring vital signs.

·        Work with family and other team members to assess patient needs

·        Turning or positioning, lifting and transferring the client as needed  

·        Help client with inhalation or oxygen therapy

·        Complete authorizations, referrals and testing follow up with patient

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

·        Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.

·        Carry out any other tasks as per clients’ needs

Requirements:

·        Valid LPN license in the state of Virginia

·        Proficient in conducting assessments and providing appropriate care.

·        Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration

·        Previous PRIMARY CARE experience is a plus.

·        Strong understanding of nursing standards and best practices

·        Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care

·        Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

·        Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

·        A valid Virginia Driver/s license with a clean driving record in the United States.

·        Be flexible and able to work overnight seamlessly 

Job Types: Full-time (8pm-8am)

Compensation: $30- $38 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Expected hours: 36-48 per week
