SUMMARY :
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Python / Back-End Engineer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with our talented engineering and software development team to support and enhance our aerospace manufacturing systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development within a high-tech industry. MUST BE LOCATED AND ABLE TO COMMUTE TO WILSONVILLE, OR OFFICE. This position is an on-site role.

COMPENSATION :
22.00 - $28.00
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using Python and related technologies.
Contribute to the design and implementation of both front-end and back-end components of our software systems.
Work with databases, APIs, and other tools to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation processes.
Learn and apply best practices for software development and project management in a high-stakes aerospace environment.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., React).
Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with C#.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment tools.
Interest in aerospace and defense technologies.
