Summary
The primary role of the Warehouse Assistant is to ensure the efficient and accurate routing of materials, hardware and equipment as needed. The Warehouse Assistant acts as a conduit between internal teams by receiving, storing, and issuing hardware and equipment as requested. This position interacts frequently with other departments including Engineering, Shipping and Receiving, and Quality in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

- Uses designated tools to ensure Value Stream materials are properly stocked
- Inventory and report consumable needs to Purchasing
- Ensures all job materials are available for manufacturing for the week’s schedule
- Report material discrepancies to applicable Value Stream and Program
- Pick, issue and move materials to applicable Value Stream location
- Keep flow of manufactured parts moving to the next location (Warehouse, OSP, Next Value Stream)
- Help keep Manufacturing areas organized and tidy
- Transact Composites Material through Crosstrack
- Help load Autoclave when needed
- Package hardware for OSP
- Perform warehouse duties as needed
- Required Education: High School Diploma
- Preferred: Forklift certified
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, organize tasks and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook), ERP experience a plus
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- This position requires the use of stairs, and occasionally lifting objects up to 120 lbs
